And we're back! After a long break, the EA team has triumphantly(?) returned to give you a fresh and exciting episode of the Electrical Apparatus Show! This episode features an interview with Trista Bonds, vice president of training and manufacturing operations at BSD Industries in Chicago. BSD offers free, hands-on robotics and technical training to students while also producing fully sustainable products like cutlery. EA Contributor Matt Raebel and Bonds discuss the program's background, how it helps connect underserved communities with emerging fields like robotics, and what machinery is involved.
In a very special episode, Bill interviews some of the unseen, unsung heroes of Milller Park that keep the home of Wisconsin's beloved Brewers in ship shape. Together, they share a personalized look at how the technology that powers the stadium functions, as well as how much work goes into maintaining and operating this modern marvel. Special thanks to: Steve Ethier, Chris Stranak, and Mike Brockman. (NOTE: I do not appear in this episode, but I edited it.) (Originally published on 5/29/2018 at Barks Publications.)
